Health Education and Health Promotion
Health education and health promotion are important areas in a strong public health systems. OCPHS provides education and information to help individuals maintain and enhance their health by making good health choices about nutrition, alcohol, tobacco and other drug use, and exercise. We offer consultation and provide presentations to schools, worksites, churches, community and civic organizations on a variety of health behavior topics. In addition, we provide health messages to large, diverse audiences through a variety of mediums such as public service announcements, articles and newsletters, health fair participation, displays and posters, along with dissemination of brochures and pamphlets. Health Education Internships
OCPHS believes in mentoring and providing quality experiences for undergraduate and graduate students needing to complete internship requirements.
