Homeless Prevention Assistance Program Short term assistance with rent or one-time help with mortgage payments when families risk homelessness as well as case management to maintain housing and employment for longer term stability and self-sufficiency.
Family Assets for Independence in Minnesota (FAIM) A savings program to help low-income households build assets for purchasing a home or paying for higher education.
Other Supports Short term help with crisis or employment-related needs. Loan applications available for the Family Loan Program to help with purchase or repair of a car, for security deposits or down payments on a mobile home or getting employment-related tools. Voice mail boxes for those who do not have phones.
