The Olmsted County Sheriff's Office Civil Division manages and serves civil process matters including but not limited to Orders for Protection, Harassment Restraining Orders, Foreclosures, Evictions, Executions, Civil Judgments and other various court orders. The Olmsted County Sheriff's Office encourages owners and/or managers of rental property to participate in the Crime Free Multi-Housing Program.  The Olmsted County/Rochester Crime Free Multi-Housing Program instructs property owners and managers how to keep illegal activity off their property. This, in turn, creates a more stable community and neighborhood, benefiting renters as well as property owners. For more information, click on the link below:

Crime Free Multi-Housing

The Training Division coordinates the hiring of Olmsted County Deputies to provide law enforcement services for various private and community events.  This duty is referred to as “extra duty” and is outlined in the link below:
