Olmsted County HRA (Housing and Redevelopment Authority)

Our mission:
To provide Olmsted County residents opportunities to obtain
quality, affordable housing
The Olmsted County HRA was established in the mid 1960’s as the Rochester Housing and Redevelopment Authority. A more detailed history of the organization is available at the link on the left.
The Olmsted County HRA is governed by a Board of Commissioners that meets monthly. It administers programs that provide rental assistance to tenants and rehabilitation funds to both homeowners and rental property owners. In addition, the Olmsted County HRA manages county-owned rental properties and partners with local agencies to provide other programs to increase the availability of affordable housing to residents of Olmsted County.
As manager, the Olmsted County HRA is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of county-owned properties. Openings of bids and RFPs (Requests for Proposal) for maintenance and construction projects are published on this site as well as in the legal notices section of the Rochester Post-Bulletin.
