The Transitional Housing Assistance Program is funded by the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency (MHFA) and serves single female heads of household with at least one minor child and households of color. It gives priority to the homeless or near homeless. To be eligible, a household must have income below 30% of local median income. The maximum rent assistance currently is $250.
