Birth Certificates

 Birth Certificates may be obtained in person or by mail. 

Same day service is available for all walk-in requests. Proper identification and tangible interest must be provided.

Completing the appropriate applications in advance will save you time at the Government Center.

Acceptable forms of payment are cash, credit card, personal check, money order or cashier's check.  Make checks payable to:  Olmsted County Vital Records

If you are mailing your request, please be sure to have it notarized, include a self-addressed return envelope and mail it to:
