Trails

One of the many delights of Olmsted County Parks is the trail system available for hikers to get exercise. You will find fresh air, the beauty of the trees, and the animals that live in Southern Minnesota. Chester Woods, Root River, and Oxbow Park offer you a great opportunity to hike.

During the Winter, Chester Woods and Oxbow Parks offer skiing on groomed trails. The trail at Root River Park is not groomed.
