Day in the Park
Join park staff and volunteers in helping persons with disabilities enjoy the park. A variety of activities are planned. Obtain registration forms and activity information by contacting: Karen Meyer at Rochester Park and Recreation, 507-328-2539.

A DAY IN THE PARK--Sat. Sept. 22th, 2012 9:00 am. to 12:30 p.m.
Registration: 8:30 to 9:00a.m.
Cost: $2 per person(no charge for support staff)
Opening remarks at instructions -- 9:00a.m. at starting station.
Stations begin at 9:00a.m. with rotations made at set intervals
Everyone welcomed to stay for more fun after completion of stations.
Late Arrivals/Early Departure--may cause forfeiture of wagon ride.

Be Sure to Bring: Extra snacks, medication as needed, any specific adaptive equipment needed, suntan lotion, bug spray, extra clothing. Bring fishing gear/sack lunch etc if you wish to stay beyond the time of the scheduled events.
Helpful Hints: Dress in layers and bring along extra sweaters, sweatshirts or jackets. At the park it can often be much different than in town. By dressing in layers you will be able toadd or remove clothing as needed for the type of day.
Registration: Complete the form below and return, no later than Thursday, Sept. 9th, Karen Meyer at Rochester Park and Rec.
Day of Event: Everyone will check in at the gate and receive a schedule, map, nametags, instructions, and details on the day of events and activities.
