Olmsted County Public Health is not administering flu shots at this time. Individuals
interested in obtaining a flu shot prior to October, can inquire with local
retail providers and pharmacies. Local health care clinics will not be administering
flu shots until the middle of Septembr or early October, 2020.
With the COVID-19 pandemic, it is extremely important that everyone who can be vaccinated, get vaccinated. Public Health is making adjustments to our processes, so we can provide flu shots efficiently and effectively in the safest manner possible.

Even healthy people can get very sick from the flu and spread it to others. The “seasonal flu season” in the United States can begin as early as October and last as late as May.
