Accessibility Statement

Olmsted County is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We want everyone who visits the Olmsted County website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding.

What are we doing?

Olmsted County has adopted the following Accessibility Policy (33 KB). To help us make the Olmsted County website a positive place for everyone, we have been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone.

The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We have chosen Level AA as the target for the Olmsted County website.

How we are doing?

We monitor the website regularly to maintain Level AA accessibility, but if you do find any problems, please get in touch by submitting a site feedback form.
