Volunteer Drivers

 
 
"Positively affect client lives through increased community volunteerism in county government"

The Volunteer Program has recruited, trained and supported volunteers for over 29 years. Serving Olmsted County Community Services opportunities are available to work with individuals or groups for a limited or extended time period. Orientation, ongoing training and support are provided to assist the volunteers in having a positive experience.

Volunteer Drivers
 
Provided needed transportation for clients to and from appointments as requested by Social Workers and Correctional staff.

Transport clients with limited transportation to medical appointments, treatment centers, visitation meetings, parenting classes, and summer camps. Most trips are in town, but longer trips are also possible.
