The Olmsted County Juvenile Detention Center holds the safety of our community, staff and residents to be our highest priority.

The Olmsted County Juvenile Detention Center serves youth (age 10-21) who have been ordered by the Court, detained by Law Enforcement, or placed by probation officers. 

Visitation can be scheduled by calling 507 328-6699

  • Photo ID must be presented at time of visit
  • All visits are monitored

Visitation Hours

Tuesday...4:30 PM to 6:30 PM
Thursday...4:30 PM to 6:30 PM
Saturday...8:00 AM to 10:00 AM and 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM

Resident Phone Calls

Collect Phone calls made by residents inside the facility are done through Securus Technologies.

Fingerprints/DNA/Book and Release

Appointments can be made at the JDC to have the following services completed for youth on Juvenile Probation or court ordered:

  • Fingerprints 
  • DNA Collection
  • Book and Release Intake 

Please call 507 328-6699 to schedule your appointment.
All youth must present photo ID and court order at time of appointment.
