Frequently Asked Questions on Telephone Reporting System.pdf (28 KB)
Low level supervision requires minimal face to face contact with a probation officer. The program is administered with the use of a Telephone Reporting System (TRS). TRS is an automated telephone/web-based monitoring system designed to increase accountability for lower risk cases where an office visit can be replaced by telephone contact. Telephone reporting is available in English and Spanish.
Eligible low risk clients may be placed on telephone reporting directly after sentencing or may be reduced from active supervision to telephone reporting. On the contrary, a person on telephone reporting with identifiable risk/need increases may be returned to active supervision to receive additional services and support.
