The Olmsted County Recycling Center Plus offers a one-stop service to individuals who prefer to transport their own garbage and recyclables.
The facility is located at
305 Silver Creek Road NE in Rochester and is open 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday-Saturday (except for holiday closings).

The Recycling Center Plus also accepts waste for a fee from those who wish to haul their own garbage. Waste brought to the Recycling Center Plus is later transferred to Olmsted County waste disposal facilities.

Garbage haulers in Olmsted County offer collection services with volume-based fees (meaning the more you throw away, the more you pay). You can reduce your waste and save resources by recycling and reducing the amount you throw away. All haulers are required to offer recycling collection services to their customers.
All garbage haulers are also required to collect an Environmental Service Charge from their customers to help fund Olmsted County environmental education and waste abatement activities.
