  • The Olmsted County Human Rights Commission was formed on April 14, 1998 under Resolution Number 98-58 after the City of Rochester Human Rights Commission was abolished.
  • The commission has 13 commissioners and 2 youth commissioners.
  • Minnesota Statutes Chapter 363, Subdivision 23 states: Duties to be dealing with discrimination on the basis of race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, sexual orientation, or familial status.
