Housing Certificate

An application for a rental housing certificate shall be accompanied by the following information:

  1. A summary of the number and type of dwelling units proposed for the structure, including the number of bedrooms in each dwelling or apartment unit.
  2. A parking plan, except for one and two family dwellings, containing the information required by Paragraph 63.400 of the Rochester Land Development Manual.

Rental properties require Housing Certificates be approved by the City of Rochester Building Safety Department. For information about these requirements please visit their website at www.rochestermn.gov (opens in a new window).
