Olmsted County Parks are wonderful places to visit and enjoy the outdoors with family and friends.  Two of our parks, Chester Woods Park and Oxbow Park offer camping sites for minimal cost.  Chester Woods Park and Oxbow Park require a reservation for camping.

Oxbow Park Campground and Chester Woods Park Campground are open. Restrooms will also be open with a minimum cleaning routine of 2x/day. Mask are required in all campground restrooms to follow Governor Walz's Executive Order 20-81. For a full description of the order please visit the State of Minnesota Website.

We are accepting campground reservations for the 2020 season. See availability of the sites at our Campground Reservation Website and call us at 507 328-7070 between Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM to place your reservation.

For the protection of all Olmsted County park visitors and to help slow the spread of COVID-19, the Olmsted County Parks department has implemented a new touchless payment system to pay for firewood, park passes, and more.

To access the touchless parks payment system, simply use the camera function on your phone and hold it up to the QR code. When the website for the QR code pops up, click it and you will be taken to the new parks payment website. From there, you will select either Chester Woods Park or Oxbow Park.

If you are unsure of how to use QR codes, you may simply visit this website:
