         Public Works Service Center    

     Mission: To plan, develop, construct, and maintain a safe and efficient
transportation system for the traveling public.

 Olmsted County has 1,695 highway miles.  The Transportation Division is responsible for 512 miles, 337 bridges (984 KB) and is involved with other agencies in all aspects of maintaining the additional 1,183 miles. Assistance is made available to 18 Townships for maintenance, construction plan preparation, bridge inspection, bridge replacement, and securing funding. New technologies, innovations, and collaborations are promoted and implemented when possible to increase growth and learning.

    1188 50th Street SE

  • Take US-52/US-63 S through Rochester
  • Merge onto US-63 S via EXIT 51 toward I-90 W / ROCHESTER AIRPORT / STEWARTVILLE
  • Take the CR-20 / 48TH ST S ramp
  • Turn LEFT onto CR-20 S / 48TH ST SE / 48TH ST SW
  • Continue to follow CR-20 S / 48TH ST SE (Fleet Farm will be on your right.  Keep going on CR-20)
  • Turn RIGHT onto ST BRIDGET RD SE / CR-20 S
  • Go South about 2 blocks on SAINT BRIDGET RD SE 
  • Turn LEFT on 50th Street SE
  • Go up about 2 blocks and take the right hand branch
  • The building will be straight ahead on your left
  • Enter by the flagpole
