Joint Canine Unit

 

 

 


 

The Olmsted County Sheriff's Office graduated its first dog from the St. Paul Police K9 Academy in June of 1994. 

In 2000 the K9 unit became a joint unit with the Rochester Police Department. 

 The unit currently consists of the following teams:
 

                Olmsted County K9’s:

Deputy Ryan Mangan – K9 Rajko

Deputy Rian Jones – K9 Jango

Deputy Adam Waletzki – K9 Cobra

Deputy Tysen Mayer - K9 Jasper

              Rochester Police K9’s:

Officer James Logan – K9 Zeke

Officer James Bradley – K9 Duke

Officer James Kennison – K9 Rocco

Officer Eric Redhill – K9 Kola

Officer Blazejak - K9 Riot

Officer Clement - K9 Wrecker

Officer Roussell - K9 Sarge

Officer Pretzloff - K9 Riley

The K9 Unit is under the supervision of OCSO Sgt. Rich Carmack and RPD Sgt. Mike Drees.  We are proud of the service that they provide the community.
